Obituary For Yvonne Katherine Brown

Yvonne Katherine Brown, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and kindness. Yvonne was a woman deeply rooted in her love for Christ, and her unwavering faith shaped every aspect of her life. She was a devoted member of her church, Grace Baptist of Quincy, Florida, where she found strength, purpose, and a sense of belonging in her faith community. She never met a stranger and made it her mission to share the gospel with everyone she encountered. Her love for her family was boundless, and her comforting personality led everyone to affectionately call her “Nana,” a title she cherished dearly.

Yvonne’s life was marked by her selfless kindness, her encouragement of others, and her constant desire to bring joy and hope to those around her. She embodied the love of Christ in her words, her actions, and her unwavering commitment to caring for others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathy Livingston and Joe Livingston. She is survived by her loving children, Justin Brown and Wendy Bragdon (Stan); her cherished grandchildren, Tyler Bragdon (Korie), Meagan Varndell (Hunter), and Jesse Bragdon; and her beloved great-granddaughter, Wrenley Bragdon. She also leaves behind her siblings, Sharon Prosser (Glenn), Joe Livingston (Bertha), and Jacqui White, who will forever remember her warmth, compassion, and devotion.

Yvonne lived by her life verse, John 14:1-3 (KJV): “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

Her legacy of faith, love, and kindness will live on in the countless lives she touched. In her memory, the family encourages sharing the gospel and extending kindness to others, as she so faithfully did.
