William (Bill) M. Nettles, Sr., husband, father, G-Daddy and follower of the Lord Jesus Christ went home to his Lord on February 16, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ginny Nettles, his son, William Jr. (Brenda), his daughter, Julie Jacobs (Gary), his granddaughter, Kylie and his sister, Sammye Long (Forester) in addition to numerous cousins, nephews, nieces as well as brothers and sisters-in-law. Bill graduated from Jones Law School in Montgomery, AL while serving as a cabinet member to three governors of Alabama. After leaving his position in government, he became an officer in the then Bank of Thomasville, AL. Following leaving the bank, he began a career in sales and eventually management of heavy equipment sales. In retirement, he became an avid fisherman and dedicated gardener. He enjoyed meeting people and sharing stories. Life for him was an adventure blessed by the Lord. It was his greatest desire that others come to know his Savior as their own.
