Obituary For Wilder G Bemis

Wilder G Bemis “Hoppy” 75, of Monticello, FL passed away unexpectedly on March 2, 2024 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 30, 1948 in Exeter, New Hampshire to the late Gardner J Bemis and Sylvia Denyou Bemis of Monticello, Florida.

He is Predeceased by his loving sister, Taska Hutchinson.

He is survived by his daughter, Betty Jo Cooper and husband Stephen Cooper of Monticello, FL, Grandson, Kody Cooper of Monticello, FL and great grandchildren, and his fur baby Little Bear.

He was the owner of County Autobody in Monticello for 35 years until he retired.

Hoppy was kind and loved his family and friends dearly. He was very creative and artistic in his craft. He had a great love for vintage vehicles, one of his favorites being El Caminos. He enjoyed riding his Harley with daughter and friends.

A private celebration of life will be held for family and friends in Monticello, FL, Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 1pm at his home. An internment will be held this summer in New Hampshire.
