Obituary List

Wayne Robert Godsmark Sr., 67, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday April 1, 2026, surrounded by his family after an extended illness.
He was a devoted husband, a phenomenal son, a wonderful brother, and the world’s best father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Wayne enlisted in 1976 and proudly served his Country as a Seabee in the United States Navy.
Wayne spent his life devoted to the call of Christ. He was the founder of Agape Street Ministries, which sponsored a community outreach and thrift store (Recovered Treasures) with multiple locations serving their local communities. He later obtained his
Bachelor of Biblical Studies (Pastoral Ministry) from Logos Christian College. After which, he spent time as the Associate Pastor at Christ Central of Lake City and was the Sr. Founding Pastor at Christ Central Ministries of Live Oak and faithfully served the
church and community there for almost 20 years.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Joann Godsmark, his mother Jean Godsmark, his sister Sharon Bardwell (Arlon), his five children Wayne Godsmark Jr (Dawn), Michelle Jiminez, Paul McDaniel (Leslie), Brandon McDaniel, and Carrie Thompson
(Kasey). He was also survived by his 5 grand-children Kayla, Jayden, Jacob, Millie, Josie, and one great-grandchild Ahmani.

Godsmark Jr.

The celebration of life service will be held on Saturday April 11, 2026, at Christ Central Lake City. Visitation will be from 2-3 P.M. with the family and the celebration service will be from 3:00-4:30 p.m.

A private graveside service with the family will be held at a later date.
