Obituary For Thomas Corley

Thomas Corley, 82, slipped the bonds of Earth on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 to arrive on the shores of Heaven to be with both his earthly and heavenly fathers.

A celebration of life service will be held at Suwannee Station Baptist Church, 3289 101st Lane Live Oak, Florida 32060, with Pastor Dennis Young officiating on Saturday, March 30, 2024, family and friend’s visitation from 10:00 -11:00 service begins at 11:00 am the burial with Military Honors Ceremony at Church Cemetery to follow.

Thomas was born in North Plainfield, New Jersey on October 24, 1941 to the Late John Corely and Jean Breamer-Corley. He was educated in the schools of New Jersey and after graduation he Proudly served our Country in The United States Navy. Tom had a passion for playing pool and later became the proud owner of “JLY, Florida Tom”. In his company he handmade custom pool sticks. Each stick had his trademark of JLY inscribed on the stick. What does JLY mean-Jesus Loves You. This became his true passion, not only did he love making personalized pool sticks. He was able to spread the word of God secretly and knowingly. He was a simple happy man, who believed in showing God’s love and in his pastime, he would read his bible. Tom was a family man and enjoyed every moment with them.

Tom is preceded in passing by his Father: John Corley, Mother: Jean Breamer-Corley; Brother: Patrick Corley; Sisters: Henrietta Corley, Mary Turchino; Bonus Son, Anthony Sciandra and Granddaughter, Bella Carroll.

Thomas is Survived by his loving Wife: D’Anne V. Clement-Corley; Step Mother: Geri Corely; Five Children: Thomas Corley (Sheila), Michael Corley, Kelly Herman, Robbie Rapaski, Scott Corley; Six Grandchildren: Patrick, Brendan, Erin, Kendal, Kayla, Kylie; Three Bonus Grandchildren: Anthony Sciandra, Skyler Sciandra, Jacob Michael O’ Brien; One Great Granddaughter, Aubrey; Two Brothers: Roger Corley, Joseph Dame; Two Sisters: Marlene Sonnenberg, Marilyn Corley along with several nieces, nephews and dearly cherished friends.
