Teressa Ann Diaz (nee Gotto), known to many as Terry Ann, passed away on April 8, 2024, in Lake City, Florida, at the age of 65. She was born on November 13, 1958, in Nashville Tennessee. Terry Ann was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Terry Ann was a wonderful woman who could always put a smile on everyone's face. If you had the pleasure of knowing her or the honor of calling her your friend, it is apparent that she was the most positive woman. She never gave up and overcame so many obstacles during her lifetime. Terry Ann is survived by her two daughters, Georgina Harrynarine and Desiree Diaz. Her two grandchildren, Jordyn and Jadelyn Harrynarine. She is also survived by her sisters Jackie, Paula and Kim as well as her brother Michael. Terry Ann was predeceased by her son George Diaz III, who held a special place in her heart. One of Terry Ann’s most cherished accomplishments was her career as a nurse. She dedicated her life to helping others. Her career led her to work in hospitals, nursing homes, a prison, and as a traveling nurse across various states. Terry Ann enjoyed traveling, especially with all the places that her career took her. In her free time, Terry was an avid animal lover. She adored her black lab, Angel (also known as Angelface) who was full of energy. She also enjoyed spending time with her horses, dogs, and her grandchildren. Terry Ann found solace in the outdoors, participating in several marathons, camping, and hiking. She was most at peace sitting outside on her porch in the morning, with a cup of coffee in her hand. A celebration of life to honor Terry Ann’s memory will be held at a later date. Terry Ann chose to be cremated, with her ashes to be shared among her loved ones.
