Stephen Michael Stringer was born in Oneonta, NY on January 9, 1957 and passed away in Tampa, FL on September 25, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by four sisters and three brothers. He is also survived by his son, Matthew Stringer. He will be buried in the family plot in Oneonta, NY.

Stephen graduated from Manatee High School in 1976. He entered the military shortly after and was a Sergeant in the US Army and Army Reserves.

Prior to moving to Tampa, FL in 2023, Stephen lived in Tallahassee, FL for over 30 years where he had many friends. He was an active member of Capital City Christian Church. He loved Jesus and the members of his church family. He enjoyed playing bingo, calling for bingo, his dogs and working in his yard.

He will be missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
