Michael Robert Conroy, a proud veteran and dedicated IT professional passed away in Tallahassee Florida, at his residence on Friday, July 19th, 2024. He was born in Detroit Michigan, on June 18th, 1952.

Michael graduated from HWHS in 1970 and went on to attend MCCC. In 1971 he proudly joined the United States Navy where he mastered their Nuclear Power program. Following the Navy in 1975 Michael became disabled. However, that did not stop his hard-working mentality or his eagerness to learn. He returned to school and continued to further his career in CNC Machining and Information Technology. He quickly became an undeniable expert in his field. Landing careers with Ford Motor Co, and countless more engineering firms in the Metro Detroit area. In 1990 he accepted a position in Tallahassee Florida to be the information technologist of Florida State University. He dedicated many years to working for Florida State University, which allowed him to take an early retirement, but retirement did not last long for Michael. Although he was retired, he did not want his working days to be over. So, he pursued yet another endeavor in the transportation industry as a certified truck driver and traveled the country.

Michael Conroy Survived by his family and his many friends. His hard-working spirit and presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
