Mary Louise “Lisa” Jarvis, 91, of Wellborn, FL died Sunday, April 2, 2023, after a brief illness. She was born on February 29, 1932, to Walter Ray Kelley and Velma Monette Tadlock Kelly in Hopewell, Madison County, FL. Lisa spent the early adult years of her life raising her three daughters in Madison County, FL. In the latter years of her life, Lisa married her childhood friend, Pasco Jarvis of Wellborn, FL. Lisa loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and she was a faithful member of Wellborn Baptist Church. Lisa also loved her family unconditionally. Lisa is survived by her husband Pasco Jarvis, sister Monette Brooks of Valdosta, GA, her daughters Debbie Johnson Vann (Jesse) of Perry, FL, Teresa Johnson Rogers (David) of Tallahassee, FL, and Lisa Johnson Lacock (Kirk) of Jacksonville, FL, 11 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grand Children and 5 Great-Great Grand Children. She also leaves behind countless friends and family that she loved dearly and who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Velma Kelly, Sisters Trixie Blanton and Ann Simpson, brother Tom Ray Kelley and granddaughter Audra Vann. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Wellborn Baptist Church in Wellborn, FL followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Fritz Fountain and Reverend Leroy Dobbs will officiate. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. at Shiloh Methodist Church in Greenville, FL. Lisa’s daughters and husband want to thank those in charge of her care at Solaris Healthcare and Haven Hospice for their dedication, compassion, and kindness during the last three weeks of her life.
