Lillian Bailey was born on November 22, 1948, in Lake City, Florida to the late Bell Denson and James Denson Sr.

On April 8, 2026, Lillian peacefully departed this life to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her stepson, Timothy Bailey Sr.; and siblings, Willie Frank Denson and Willie Mae Williams.

Left to cherish her memories are: her loving husband, Bernard Bailey; children, Lenard Bailey and DeWayne Bailey (Paula); grandchildren, Akeidria Bailey, Timothy Bailey Jr., and Anthony Bailey; great-grandchildren, Cyla Coker and Carys Coker; sisters, Margie Hankins (Curt), Veria Denson, James Denson Jr, and Revonia Newton; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will forever hold her love in their hearts.
