Joseph Blake Holcomb, also known as Blake, passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 57 in Gainesville, Florida. He was born on June 2, 1966, in Del Rio, Texas. Blake was a fun-loving and joking guy, who cherished spending time with his family, friends, and especially his grandchildren. Blake is survived by his sister, Cynthia Whitt, and brother-in-law, James Whitt. He is also survived by his son, Eric Holcomb, and daughter-in-law, Teri Holcomb, as well as his granddaughter, Elani Holcomb, and his son, Christopher Holcomb, and daughter-in-law, Dariysa Holcomb. Additionally, he leaves behind his grandson, Mason Holcomb, and his daughters, Cali Holcomb and Alli Holcomb. Blake was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Wayne Holcomb, and his mother, Catherine Marie Holcomb. He will be remembered for his love of riding his motorcycle, a hobby that brought him joy and excitement.

In accordance with Blake's wishes, instead of a traditional funeral, a Celebration of Life BBQ will be held on Saturday, September 16th, 2023, at his sister's residence in Lake Panasoffkee, Florida. It will be a time for family and friends to come together and honor Blake's memory.
