Helen Sue Hiner
August 8, 1947 – August 10, 2025

Helen Sue Hiner, born in Rochester, Indiana, peacefully passed away in Lake City, Florida. She
was the beloved daughter of John and Rosemary Beard. Helen was married to Donald S. Hiner Sr. for 47 years, until his passing in 2013.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Shelly Roberts; her son, Donald S. Hiner Jr. (spouse, Meredith); her son, Richard Hiner (spouse, Tina Bolton); her son, Jeffrey Hiner (spouse, Linda); and her son, Gregory Hiner. In addition, she is remembered by her 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her three siblings: Mary Dittman, Carol Williams, and Jeanine Brower. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Nancy Butler.

Helen dedicated many years of service as a factory worker at Group Dekko (Heaters Engineering Inc).

Throughout her life, Helen had a deep passion for sewing and knitting. She also cherished her collection of stuffed bears, which brought her immense joy. She enjoyed reading the bible and spending time with her family. Helen spent the last seven years living at Solaris in Lake City,,Florida, where everyone there became her extended family. They took great care of her and loved her dearly. Helen was loved by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Helen’s life will take place at a later date.
