Obituary For Harriet Rothstein

Harriet Rothstein
(July 20, 1941 – August 5, 2025)

Harriet was born in Brooklyn, NY and passed away in
Lake City Florida.

Her parents were Dorothy and Nathan Leiman. Her husband of 57 years Leonard Rothstein passed away in 2016.

She is survived by her daughter Beth Giannone (Bob, spouse), and her son Stephen Rothstein. (Nimfa, spouse). She has three grandchildren, Brandon Rothstein and Samantha Giannone Senger and Anthony John Giannone. She also has three great grandchildren, Jadyn and Owen Senger and Tessa Giannone. She also is survived by her three siblings, Evelyn Garrin, Larry Leiman and Gary Leiman.

Harriet loved to knit and garden. For years she made hundreds of blankets in which she donated to the less fortunate and to hospice in Boca Raton. Her favorite hobby when she was younger was gardening. She used to say, “I can’t wait to get my hands in the dirt”.

A celebration of life will be at the ICS Funeral Home in Lake City, Florida on August 29 th at 1:00 PM.

    Hey sweetie. I'll look for you as you travel wherever you and Lenny go, especially through the gardens and finally have time to smell the roses! I love you and will miss you. There will be no Timelapse til I see you. Find Harm for me and tell him "I'll be there in 300 feet"
