Obituary For Gracey Lynn Hudson

Gracey Lynn Hudson, beloved Mother of 2 precious young children, a daughter, sister, grandchild, cousin, and friend passed from this life on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the age of 22. Her loss is completely unexpected, and her family is profoundly saddened. Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her so deeply.

She was a true southern girl. All who knew her appreciated her love for others, her fun-loving personality, and her southern temperament. She was so proud of her kids, her family and friends. She accepted everyone with an open heart, open arms, and a perpetual smile. She had immense passion for her family. We will hold dear the stories and we are privileged to tell the narrative one day of her funny, loving motherly ways and of her adventurous essence. She embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity.

Survived by Mother, Christie Prahn-Hudson, Father, Earl Hudson, her first true love Steven Statham, Son, Gunner Bo Statham, Daughter, Emma Grace Statham, Brothers, Lonnie Hudson, Brian Hudson, Brandon Hudson, Sister, Kelly Huynh, Grandparents, David and Cindy Prahm, Chris Prahm and several cousins as well as dearly loved friends.

She is in heaven with Grandparents Earl Hudson, Phyllis & Frank Williams, Aunt Gina Hudson, Brother, Marshall Dylan Rexroad, Great-Grandparents, Miguel and Thelma Alvarez.

Officiating The Celebration of Life for Gracey is Gary Blaton on Friday, September 20th, 2024 at 4:00 PM. Service will be at New Life Christian Fellowship, 422 SW Baya Drive Lake City, FL 32025.

You will truly be missed Gracey! We've known each other since 4th grade. We grew apart over the years but I'll never forget your silly, loving personality! I will continue to pray for your sweet little babies! Enjoy the beautiful place you are in- Jade
