Obituary For Everett Eugene Vaughn

Everett Eugene Vaughn, 83, Fort White, FL, passed away on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023. Everett was born on August 27, 1939 in Emington, Illinois to the Late Everette Robert Vaughn and Eula Kirk-Vaughn. Everett met the love of his life Judith Moyer and soon after married on October 18, 1959. He was a plant supervisor at Armour pharmaceutical company for 25 years. Later in life they moved to sonny Florida with palm Tree dreams. Here they began to build a beautiful life together, enjoying their retirement years. He loved to ride his golf cart all around his treasured farm here in Florida. If you didn’t find Everett on the farm, he would probably find him at the beach with Judy. In his free time, he found pleasure with one club, one ball and deciding either slicing, hooking or drop kicks off the tee! Doesn’t really matter, with one smack of the club the golf ball is soaring to who knows where. Whenever Randy came to town with his big rig, Everett had to meet him to take a ride around town! He always surrounded himself with family, which is where he felt most comfortable and loved. Sometimes we think “Bear” his fur buddy was his favorite companion. Everett loved his family, friends, and pets, and they will miss him dearly.

Mr. Vaughn is survived by his Devoted Wife, Judith B. Moyer-Vaughn, Fort White, FL, Son; Randy (Coleen) Vaughn, Sheldon, IL, Two Daughters; Teri Farris; Tammy (Brian) Wilburn, both of Fort White, FL, Brother-In-Law; Raymond Gullquist, Two Sister-In-Laws; Judy Vaughn, Patricia Vaughn, 9 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and good friends.

He was preceded in death by Robert (Norma) Vaughn, Thomas Vaughn, Delbert (Pat) Vaughn, Donald Vaughn and Delores Vaughn.
