Enman L. Nettles, (affectionately called Grandpa by those who knew him), passed away Tuesday, October 14th, 2025 at the age of 83. He was born on June 12th, 1942 to Louis & Retha Nettles in Auburndale, Florida.

He joined the United States Army in 1963. After his service in the army, Mr. Nettles worked for the city of Jacksonville for 37 years. Upon his retirement, he moved to Branford, Florida to be near his family. Mr. Nettles was a lifelong hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Nettles was preceded in death by his parents, Louis & Retha Nettles, and his brothers, Larry C. Nettles and Louie E. Nettles.

He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Dunnigan (Tim), Granddaughters, Kati Rogers (Justin) and Hanah Dunnigan (Nick), two great granddaughters, Maddie & Rosie Rogers; his son, Michael Nettles; and two sisters, Barbara Doehne (Lon) and Sylvia Faulkner (Tom).

A graveside service will be held for Mr. Nettles at 11am on Nov. 8th, 2025 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake Butler, Florida.
