Obituary For Earl C. Heitz

Earl Heitz III, a proud heavy equipment operator for the International Union of Operating Engineers, passed away in his home on December 9th, 2024.

Earl preceded in death to his loving parents, Father, Earl Heitz II and Mother, Marie Heitz (Klenk).

He is Survived by Daughter, Taylor Heitz, Grandchildren, Diesel, Remington and Lavender. Claimed Daughter Chelsea Ogburn and Claimed Granddaughter Merlaina. Sisters, Holly Heitz, Marie Heitz and brother, Howard Heitz.

He was born on September 21st, 1960, in Abington Pennsylvania. In Earls earlier years he was adventures, quick witted, and never turned down a good time. He spent many years living freely and enjoying any opportunity to live his life to the fullest. But a whole new meaning to “living life to the fullest” met its maximum potential when he became a father. From that day on Earl was a different man. He centered his very existence around his little girl.

Earl, aside from being a loving father, LOVED animals. He had Australian cattle dogs, chickens, turkeys, goats anything you could think of. You name it He owned it. He enjoyed spending time with his animals on his farm but also liked to spend his time fishing. He loved it so much his dream was to one day live right on a coast so he could step outside and instantly cast a line from his front door.

He was not a man with one hobby. Oddly enough as much time as he spent spending time with the things that gave him the most joy. He still found time for gardening and smaller hobbies like searching for the next greatest seafood restaurant, or scoping out different flea markets, antique stores or finding a new foreign market to explore.

Even with all the things Earl loved to do. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his grandbabies and his family. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the honor in meeting him.
