Dorothy J. Fulk of Valdosta, Georgia was born December 23, 1948 in Chicago Illinois to Helen Lupinski-Franczewski and Edward Franczewski. She passed away on September 24, 2026 at the age of 77. She lived with her mother’s family (Lupinski family) until she married her husband after she graduated from Norte Dame Catholic High School.

She was proceed in death by her loving husband Norman H. Fulk, and her second son (fourth child) Norman R.S. Fulk. Dorothy was married on August 4, 1969 to Norman H. Fulk and she will rest in peace next to him at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery.

She is survived by three of her 4 children: Kim Fulk, Lisa Merry, and Dawn Johnson as well as 9 grandchildren: Liam Fulk, Nichole Merry, Crystal Merry, Paul Johnson, Laura Johnson, Skyyelar Fulk, Rivyr, Fulk, Rainyer Fulk, and Sah'Myr Fulk, her 3 great-grandchildren: Orion Johnson, Carina Johnson-Perez, and Elliana Johnson-Perez.

“Dorothy (Mom) was a spirited and traveling soul who dearly loved her family.” (Love, Kim Isabel, and Liam).

“She loved to garden, take naps, walk, travel, and feed the birds (and any animal she could). She also enjoyed shopping for her family and sending packages routinely to show her love. She was very generous to the ones she loved. Her love of nature was contagious and her spirit will live on in all of her remaining family members and beyond.” (Love, Wes, Lisa, Nichole, and Crystal)

“Our Mom, Dorothy, always put others needs before her own, she loved her family dearly and truly enjoyed all of God's creation, especially animals and plants. She shared all that she had with others and stayed busy creating new adventures of her own daily to make life's journey interesting.” (Love, Dawn, Michael, Laura, Orion, Carina and Elliana)

“We love her very much and will miss her monthly mystery packages wrapped in plastic bags and tape containing treasures such as random family pictures, gold coins, old church cookbooks, color pencils, kitten calenders, and trinkets.” (Paul and Karen)

Her funeral will be held at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery in Micanopy Florida on 10/14/26 at 10am.
