Dorothy “Nana Dot” Fay Allen-Garrett Ramos of Pinetta, age 80, passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by loved ones in the quiet morning of August 1st, 2024 at Madison County Memorial Hospital.

Per her wishes, Dorothy will be cremated and laid to rest at home to continue looking after her loved ones alongside her son-in-law, Kenny Hart. A Celebration of Life will be held at home, open only to close friends and family.

Dorothy was born on February 13th, 1944 in Waycross Georgia to Cora Bell Allen and Andrew Hartridge Allen. She was the second youngest of nine siblings. Though born in Waycross, Dorothy would make her home in Pinetta Florida, and worked many years in Hospitality with an unparalleled dedication to supporting her family. She will be deeply missed by all she is survived by.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Marie Lavonne Wallace, Richard “Buddy” Garrett, Conception Ramos Hart, Enrique Allen Ramos; her Grandchildren, Kayla Jones, Cierra “C.C” Scarberry, Jami Lee Hart, Kenneth “Bud” Hart, Pebbles Maria Hart, Soni Lee Hart, Elijah Jesse Ramos, Enrique Ethan Ramos; and her Great-grandchild, Elijah Cruz Ramos.
