Life Passage

David G. Sapp, 80, born on July 28, 1943 to Herman Sapp and Irene Hankerson-Sapp in Live Oak, Florida. He slipped the bonds of Earth on Saturday, April 27, 2024, a beautiful life came to close and arrived on the shores of Heaven. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, was baptized and became a devoted member of Church of Christ.

Dad, we will miss you, immensely. You were our "go-to" when life got rough, you were our sanity in this crazy world, and our comfort when we needed clarity. You were always someone we could count on, and although you were a straight shooter, you always got your point across without judgement, and always provided us sound advice. You always made sure we made our decisions after thinking things through. You always gave it 110% and never stop fighting for what's right. Because of you, we have the hearts of a lion, the love of our family, and an insane work ethic. We thank you dad for all the calls, wise words of advice, the love you gave us and the beautiful lives we've lived because of you, your hard work, and your boundless love for us. We are all better people Dad, because of you. We will forever keep you in our hearts with God.

David leaves behind to cherish his memories, his Loving Wife Diane Sapp, Charming Daughter’s, Sandra Sapp (Anthony), Kim, Pam, Donna, Rhonda “Jolene”; Charismatic Son, Derrick Sapp (Jazz), an Adoring Sister, Mamie Johnson, Devoted Brother Herman Sapp, 12 Delightful Grandchildren, 7 Amazing Great Grandchildren, several wonderful Nieces, Nephews, cousins, a very dear friend Josephine Sapp and precious friends who was there for him to the very end Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Graham. Loved by all.

To my Husband, thank you for your endless love, that will help me through each day. Thank you for the memories that will never fade away. You’re the man I always love and I was proud to be your wife. Every day in some way, I will Celebrate your life.

Your Wife

Diane

    My condolences 💐

  • 04/30/2024

I will always love and cherish my fond childhood (w/ Donna) memories of Mr. Poochie. He was a gentle giant and a loving person. To the family, Life is but a stopping place, a pause in what's to be, a resting place along the road, to sweet eternity. My condolences and prayers are with you all. Love Always, CaSonia "Elaine" (Garner Williams) Martin
