Danny “Dan” L. Ponder

Born July 9, 1947 in Montebello, California.

A proud veteran of The United States Marine Corps who served in Vietnam with the Flying Tigers HMM 262 squadron, passed away on August 14, 2024 in Valdosta, Ga.

He is survived by his two children, Christine L Stewart and Michael L Ponder, seven grandchildren, Meaghan McDaniel, Cameron Ponder, Savanna Stewart, Evan Ponder, Bradley Ponder, Lillian Ponder, and Madison Ponder, and three great grandchildren, Sloane, Rory, and Quinn McDaniel.

He had a love for NASCAR, Wood working and fishing.
