CHARLES HENRY RODERICK OVER IV

Charles Henry Roderick Over IV, age 54, passed away at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital on August 3, 2024, following a lengthy illness. He was born on February 16, 1970, to Florence Holland and Charles Henry Roderick Over III in Valdosta, Georgia.

His friends called him “Charlie”. He was a skilled carpenter, and he loved being outdoors. Charlie enjoyed listening to music and playing his guitar. He was good at sketching, and he liked drawing pictures.

Affectionately known as “Peter Rabbit” by his family, Charles grew up in South Georgia where he spent time fishing with his granny at Grassy Pond and Whitewater Lake.

Charles is survived by his mother, Florence Holland, his brother, Jesse Nitschke, his sister, Ivy Davis, and his son, Dalton Over. He was preceded in death by his sister, Serra Wisenbaker and his grandmother, Virginia Nitschke.
