On the morning of Monday November 6,2023 Brenda “Granny” Keene passed away at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville FL at the age of 65. Brenda was born and raised in Tippah County Mississippi to Leroy and Verna Mae Lewis.

When Brenda was in the work force, she worked at Tacachale taking care of Mentally handicap residents, and several nursing homes. She loved to take care of people. It was her true passion.

She Married Van Donald Robinson and they had two Daughters Vanessa (Kramer) and Carolyn (McLendon) and then they moved to Florida where she spent the rest of her life. Nothing made Brenda happier then spending time with her two daughters and two son in laws Frank Kramer and Chip McLendon, her 7 Grandchildren Christopher Costello (Brittany) Kimberley Coleman (Terry), Rusty (Ann), Donny, Frankie “Ramer”, Nathan (Andria) and Amber. And her 12 Great Grandchildren Ridge, Miles, Mason, Makenzie, Jonathan, Justin, Jackson, Tyler, Axel, Jayden, Brooklynn, and Kacin. Brenda was proceeded in death by her parents Leroy and Verna Mae Lewis and two Brother Tommy and Wayne Lewis. She was survived by three brothers and one sister Ricky, Jerry, and Tony Lewis and Fredirene Hefner.

Brenda was loved by everyone who knew her. She was an angel on this earth before she became one in heaven. She was a great Mom to Vanessa and Carolyn but everyone else called her Granny. She had so many “adopted” grandchildren. Too many to name but she loved them all.
