Angela L Rutig Brown, cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2024, at the age of 55. Angie’s warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed by all.

Angie is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, JD Brown, JD’s son who she loved as her own, Jacob Brown, her wonderful daughter, Sherry Shaheen, and cat of 16 years, Taylor. Angie’s greatest joy was her family, as she was the source of endless love and support for them. Her deep love for JD and her unwavering pride in Sherry were evident in everything she did.

Angie had a profound love for the beach, finding peace and happiness in the waves and the sand. She could often be found picking up shells, soaking in the sun, and sharing stories of her seaside adventures. Her heart was also tenderly devoted to her feline companions, who were her constant sources of comfort and joy.

For 27 years, Angie dedicated herself to her career as a Team Leader where she was known for her exceptional work ethic, commitment, and professionalism. Her colleagues admired her for her unwavering dedication, her ability to tackle challenges with grace, and her tireless efforts to make a positive impact.

Her infectious smile, boundless enthusiasm, and loving spirit will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Angie’s legacy of love, warmth, and dedicated work ethic will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A celebration of Angie’s life will be held at The Gardenia Center on September 13, 2024, from 2pm to 6pm, for family and friends to gather. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Cat Depot in her honor.
