Angela Dawn Sheffield (Pritchett) passed away unexpectedly at her home on October 3, 2023. She was only 41 years old. Her family is deeply saddened by her death. Angela was born June 3, 1982 in Beckley, West Virginia. She was a joy to watch grow up and always full of adventure. The County of Currituck, N. C. where she grew up didn’t realize what a beautiful and fearless, yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate person that was raised in their backyard.

Angela is survived by her loving husband of 18 years Edward Sheffield, Son; Jonathon Thebarge both from Perry, FL, Daughter; Kayla Grimm, granddaughter; Oaklynn Grimm both from Norfolk, Va., Mother; Janet Denham of Moyock, N. C., Father; Roger Pritchett, Sr. and Step-Mother; Robin Pritchett of Helen, West VA; Sisters, Melissa Lamoureux (Adam) of Jacksonville, N. C., Amanda Pritchett of Moorehead City, N. C., Angel Wood of Pax, West VA, Brittany Pritchett of Helen, West VA and her Brother, Roger Pritchett, Jr. of Manteo, N C.

Mrs. Sheffield is preceded in death by her Step-Father; Jerry Denham.

Angela was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was so stunning it would light up the whole room. She cared so deeply for the people around her. She was so kind and passionate. She made an impact on many lives. She will be forever missed. Until we meet again.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date.
