Richard George Williams, III

Ricky G, age 58, formerly of Alliance, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at 4:30 am on July 23, 2018 at the North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville, FL.

He was born July 8, 1960 in New Orleans, LA to Sandra J. Fink and Richard G. Williams, Jr.

Ricky G. earned his Business and Accounting Degrees at Lake City Community College, Phi Theta Kappa in May 2000.

Ricky G is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Richard G. Williams Sr. and Mary Williams and his maternal grandparents Roy J Nichols and Ellen M. Nichols. Also preceding his
death he lost his four-legged friend, Vixen.

He was a talented artist and combined with his business degree, he opened Ricky G’s Emporium August 1, 2000. This well-known tattoo shop located in Lake City Florida decorated hundreds of people in the form of customized tattoos. Ricky G wanted to spend more time with his family retiring December 2012.

While some of you know Ricky G by his artwork, others knew him for his Love to Ride. If the sun was out or not, Ricky G would fire up one of his Harleys and off he would go.. Sometimes he would be gone for hours, no particular destination. Within the past 30 days he took his last adventure on his Harley. Riding for days across several states before arriving in the Houston Texas area.

This loving son, husband, brother, uncle and grandpa is survived by his wife, Ruthamae Williams; his Mother, Sandra J. Fink of Lake City, FL and his father, Richard G. Williams, Jr.; sisters, Robin W. Krstovic of Atlanta, GA,, Rebecca Griffith (Dean) of Lake City, FL, and Judith Mollohan (Bill) of Atlanta, GA.; daughters Elizabeth and Denise Thomas; nieces, Cassandra Sticker and Alexandra Kelly; nephews Cody Griffith (Ashley) and Jason Thomas II; grandchildren Christopher, Austin, Dalton, Peyton and Ashton; grandnieces, Audrey, Kennedy and Jada.

This wonderful man will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held at ICS Cremation & Funeral Home 357 NW Wilks Lane Lake City, FL 32055 on Sunday, July 29th, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
