Margaret Cannady

Margaret Ann Cannady, “Peggy” 75 of Mayo FL., daughter of the late David Lewis Sickler Jr.(Helen) and the late Edna Mae Grove, passed away September 14th, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born in Salem, New Jersey, and graduated from Georgia School for the deaf in Cave Springs, Ga. She worked as a seamstress in a purse factory.
Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert “Bob” Cannady in 2014. She is survived by her two daughters: Kimberly Joy Hellams (Todd Hellams), Kristy Garrard (John Garrard); grandchildren, Zane Walker (Caitlin Walker), Zoie Musgrove (Tyler Musgrove), Madisyn Trawick, Ryan Hellams, Avery Hellams, Landen Garrard & Lathan Garrard; great-grandchildren, Tyson Musgrove & Zylie Musgrove; Fur-greatgrandchildren, Izzy, Remi, Ryder, Sterling, Kirby, Luna, Oliver, Remus, Ginny, Tonks & Winky.
Margaret is also survived by her three siblings; Louise Smith (Jim Smith), Donnie Sickler, Beverly Brown (Lamar Brown); nieces and nephews, Laura, Cynthia, Daniel, William & Sara; great-nieces and nephew, Justin, Lane & Seth.
Margaret was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She loved sewing beautiful quilts and pillowcases that she generously gave to family and friends. It filled her heart with great joy.
