Francis Patrick Bible of Trenton, Florida passed away on March 16, 2022, from a traumatic brain injury caused by a motorcycle accident. Patrick was born on November 20, 1961, to Arnold and Doris Bible in Quantico, VA. His family moved to Cedar Key in 1969 where he grew up. Patrick loved the water and at age 19 he joined the Army where he became a Master Captain and operated boats, transporting soldiers. After his discharge from the Army, he sold cars for a few years and became top salesman at Prestige Lincoln Mercury in Gainesville, FL. He missed being a soldier and decided the next best thing was to become a cop. He worked as a law enforcement officer for Levy County Sheriff’s Office, Chiefland Police Department, and later finished his career, due to health reasons, as a Sergeant for the Cedar Key Police Department. In between Patrick also helped with the family business in Cedar Key, called the Island Hopper, where he and his brothers were all boat captains. Patrick became a devout Christian leading him to earn degrees in Christian Studies and Christian Counseling from Liberty University. He became the Chaplain for the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office in 2012 and in January of 2015 Patrick and his wife BillieJo started Bible Ministries Church in Fanning Springs, FL where he was the Pastor until his death. Patrick is preceded in death by his father Arnold J. Bible and his mother Doris Bible Kemp. He is survived by his wife BillieJo, his eight children Rebecca (Brian) Hilty, Diana Bible, Brian Bible, Sean Bible, C.J. Bible, Brandon (Xanthe) Bible, Marina (Austin) Thomas, Jeremiah Bible, eleven grandchildren, sister Deborah (Mike) Squires, and brothers Mike Bible and Timmy (Meagan) Bible.
