Brenda Kay Bonham Styons, 44, of Lake City Florida passed away 7/21/2018 after a complicated battle with Lymphoma.
Born 8/27/1973 in Beckley WV to Evelyn Marlene Bonham and C. J. Bonham. She was the youngest child of 3. In her primary years she attended school in Mt. hope WV where she was an honor roll student and played saxophone in the band. In 1987 she moved to Lake City Fl attended Columbia Co High and was a very active member in Berea Baptist youth group and sung in the Choir. Brenda trained at Regis Beauty School and was a hair stylist in Orlando and Lake City Fl. Later she attended Suwanee Hamilton Vocational Technical Center. For many years she was a Licensed Title Agent, a processor and Manager. She was working at Atkins Global as a Title Researcher when she fell ill.
Brenda enjoyed crocheting, knitting, painting, singing and entertaining friends. Her greatest accomplishment was her 2 beautiful daughters Victoria and Alexis. She will forever be remembered for her kindness, illuminating smile, and loving heart. She never met a stranger and we are all better people for knowing her.
She is survived by her daughters Victoria and Alexis Styons, her devoted mother Marlene Bonham, Brother and sister in Law Michael and Anita Pennington and Niece Casi Pennington of Lake City Florida, Her Sister and Brother in Law Trina and Edward Brockett and Niece and Nephew Faith and Evan Brockett of Houston Texas, her Uncle and Aunt Everette and Lura Pennington of Mc Donough Ga, and her loyal dog Diezel. She is preceded in death by her father C.J. Bonham, Grandmothers Lucille Bonham and Madge Pennington, and Grandfather Arnold Pennington.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Eastside Village Clubhouse 7/23/18 at 5pm. In Leu of flowers consider making a donation to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society www.lls.org, Haven Hospice beyourhaven.org/donate, or take a valued friend to lunch.
